I forgot to mention in my below post about the infamous doorman of Berghain. you have to get past this slightly intimidating guy to get in the place! As well as being the doorman for most of the weekend at the famous club, he is also a photographer. Read this interesting article about him on The New York Times site here.

Jaguar Shoes, Phillip Smileys Hive
We popped in to Jaguar Shoes a few weeks ago on a random Shoreditch crawl (don't rule Shoreditch out just yet, there are a few little gems)
Jaguar shoes never fails with it's interior decor or rather exhibition space. This time stunning illustrations cover the wall of bees and nymph type creatures gobbling up honey. There is also a film installation and the most incredible bumble bee disco ball.
These images from Dazed Digital.
A little fact for you, Philip Smiley is actually the guy on the front of the hugely successful 'The Selby'
book. Go check out his house here.

The Fourth Wall
I am enjoying the email marketing for Bourne and Hollingsworth’s new pop up bar... a series of clues to the where abouts of the location. More about it here.

Brunswick House Cafe
A friend took me here at last weekend, just off Vauxhall roundabout of all places. It was really nice, apparently the antiques dotted around change all the time depending on what has been bought. The food looked really good and the cocktails definitely got me pissed. Apparently its owned by the brother of whoever it is who owns Franks on Peckham Rye carpark. You can read more about it here, which is where I stole the image from.

Last Weekend's Shenanigans
Franks bar in Peckham and hula hooping, amongst other things!
It was a busy weekend, some of which involved this bar on a roof of a multi-story car park in Peckham. Its amazing, you can see right over London, the cocktails are cheap and the music was perfect. Plus there are sculptures on the top levels for you to find and explore. Our favourites being the inflating, deflating, music playing rats. Once the bar shut, we rushed safely back to the other side of the river (only joking) and danced and hula hooped back at ours until we ran out of energy.
You can see more about the rats and their other installations here.
