Logo Love

Stumbled across this online, what a beautiful logo. I am obsessed with all things art deco and this is perfect example of a modern version. The website the logo belongs to is not finished yet but even with it's one page and the way the logo shimmers is lovely. It reminds me a little of the Biba logo which I also love, oh and Bob Bob Ricard where I was lucky enough to be taken for a birthday suprise.

All Things Feathery

I can't remember how I came across this website (eachpieceunique) but its lovely. I would love one of these hat type things to prance around the house in. They reminded me of Natasha Khan from Bat for Lashes and her love of all things feathery.

No feathers here, but nice image

I found another site featuring feathered goods, Littledoeslove but more expensive. I think the homemade option is much more appealing though after seeing the prices.

This also reminded me of the Kate Moss, Mario Testino shoot for Vogue a few years back where she is also donning some fine feathered head gear.

Pink Kitchens and Green Bathrooms

I love these old 1960's kitchens, there are not enough of them around anymore. I think people really hate them. If I moved into a house with a kitchen like this, I think I would have to keep it. I'm sure what my boyfriend would have to say about it... If the house also had an avocado bathroom suite, I think I would find it hard to get rid as well. Perhaps I would have to live on my own.

Dream and Reality Outfits

For the wedding I am attending this month. I though this Paul & Joe number might be nice at £462 reduced from £770 its a bargain...! Hmmm so instead, particularly as I'm on a tight budget this month, I have opted for this old Whistles number from ebay. Can't have everything can you? Inspired by the grandmothers wardrobe post below I thought I might wear it with orangey red lippy and a big orangey red clutch.

Random find: Stephen Gill photography

Trying to find images for something else, led me accidently to discover this photographer. I like to do this sort of thing in photoshop, putting random images over the top of others. Lykke Li Love

Ok so Glastonbury lived up to my expectations, although we felt like we had to earn the good times with what felt like an army assault course just to get in the place. 4 hours queueing squashed up in crowds in the pouring rain, and then two hours searching for a pitch whilst losing all my friends and not having a phone.

One of my highlights however was the lovely Lykke Li on the Sunday, who appears to have gone a bit goth in her style (which is a great thing in my eyes!) She loves black (me too me too!) She was one of the first to start the top knot hairstyle thing that sweeped East London a while back.
