Great Grandmother's wardrobe

An interesting article on Urban Outfitter's site about an employees wardrobe and her inherited clothes from her Grandmother. She managed to inherit the same dress size and shoe size, and looks amazing in them.

Also loving the OTT wallpaper in Grandmothers old bathroom. You can see the rest here.

Megabytes of Spring: V Magazine

Forgot about these when I was going on about animated gifs. These were some of the first I noticed in the new trend of mini animations back in January, and perhaps the best.
But oh look its not working. Rubbish. Check them out here: vmagazine

The Horrors, Sharks and Hula Hoops

Off to see the Horrors tonight which in itself is exciting. But also it's at York Hall, which was my old swimming club back in my younger school years. I even made it to be a Shark. You had to go all the way from the tadpoles in the small pool, through to the dolphins and other types of swimming creatures, until you got to be a Shark. Only then could you wear the swimming hat with the shark logo!

Might even treat myself to a packet of Hula Hoops from the vending machines on the way out like old times.

Animated gifs!

Animated gifs seem to be making a come back, and I have been enjoying it, although I feel my enjoyment may have peaked. They are fun and they do make me smile. I need to have a go at making my own before I tire of them....

Here are some that are doing the rounds.

Chris Benz Rip Offs

Spotted these shoes in the write ups for SS10 collections which I fell in love with. They are a collaboration by Chris Benz (who also happens to have a rather beautiful website) and Alejandro Ingelmo. I absolutely loved the vintage 70’s style of them. A newsletter from Need Supply dropped into my inbox today with a lovely outfit and a hugely similar pair of shoes.

Jeffrey Campbell are not shy about completely copying another designer are they?!

Di$count Bling

More bling! stumbled across these images on Di$counts site. I love the all the colours of the outfit against the train chairs, and especially the bling. Might have a go at constructing my own for Glastonbury.
