Proenza Schouler SS13

As you may know, I have a love of pattern, and love the idea of doing my own digital prints. I found Proenza Schouler's collection for next summer very inspiring. I loved the abstract mash up up pattern and textures. View the whole lot on Style.com.

A favourite of mine: Julie Verhoeven

Illustrator/ painter/ textile designer, whatever she is, Julie Verhoeven is a definite favourite of mine. Oh how I would be able to draw like her. I have some old pictures I pulled out of the Independent Magazine many moons ago, stuck behind my computer. You can tell they are old because the paper has gone that lovely old colour.

I think I had them stuck up at uni, and a few houses after that!

T-shirt designs

I have recently made an album on Behance with some T-shirt designs I did for a company last year. They were designed for SS11 (ie now) and the theme was mainly tropical and bright, as you may have noticed, both are big trends this summer. Go see more of my designs here.

Holly Fulton Prints

As a wannabe textile print designer (even though I have a degree in Textiles!) I absolutely love Holly Fulton. Partly because of the big references to art deco and all the lips. (lips keep coming back into my posts!)

I particularly like the smoking ones and the images of hands. Her accessories match them beautifully.
Here are a selection of her collections, concentrating on the print aspect of her work.
